Types and methods of remote sensing
introduction:

Remote sensing is the science and art of collecting information about objects without the need for direct contact. It is used in many fields including agriculture, geology, hydrology, environment, meteorology, security, and natural resource exploration.

Different remote sensing:

Depending on the power source:

Passive remote sensing: Based on the measurement of energy reflected or generated by objects in nature.
Active remote sensing: This is based on transmitting energy (such as radar waves) from the sensor to the object being measured, and then measuring the energy reflected or emitted by the object
For the type of load carrying platform:

Telescopic aircraft: Use airplanes, balloons, or drones.
Remote sensing of objects in space: Using satellites.
Ground remote sensing: Ground sensors are used.
Remote sensing techniques:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Aerial Space Photography

To capture aircraft or satellite images with special cameras.
Images are used in applications such as mapping, natural resource exploration, and environmental change monitoring.
Radar: 1 .

transmitting radar waves from objects and measuring the reflected energy.
Radar is used in applications such as weather control, navigation of ships and aircraft, and land surveillance.
Infrared remote sensing:

Measurement of the heat energy of materials.
Infrared remote sensing is used in applications such as monitoring forest fires, monitoring biodiversity and monitoring changes in Earth’s surface temperature
Microwave telescopes:

Transmission of microwave waves and measurement of reflected energy.
Microwave remote sensing is used in applications such as soil moisture monitoring, vegetation monitoring, and surface monitoring.
