HOW HOGWARTS LEGACY HOUSE SORTING WORKS
You'll arrive at Hogwarts shortly after the game begins, just in time for the Sorting Ceremony. You can be assigned to your house in one of two ways

The only question that will change the home you are sorted into is this one. Fans of the show may already be aware of which choice will result in which house, but just in case, we've included the resulting house in parentheses:

Daring. (Gryffindor)\sCuriosity. (Ravenclaw)
Loyalty. (Hufflepuff)\sAmbition. If you're unhappy with the house you were sorted into, you can choose any other house to join. (Slytherin)

You won't have this option if your accounts are linked because you will have already completed the quiz. You will just be asked the "start classes"/"explore" question, which will not affect how your house is sorted.

You are given one more chance to choose a house if you don't like the one you were put into based on the quiz. Before moving further, be sure you're satisfied with your choice because it is final.

LIMITATIONS AND HOUSE DIFFERENCES IN THE HOGWARTS LEGACY
The Hogwarts Legacy house you are assigned to will alter a few plot points, but not the main narrative. The following will be determined by your Hogwarts house:

Your robes and attire will be decorated with the colours and emblems of your house. When choosing a home, keep in mind any special colours you choose to wear, such as red, blue, yellow, or green.

In Hogwarts Legacy, there are a tonne of outfit possibilities that don't represent your house at all, so you can always decide to wear anything else.

Your relationships, gameplay, or story will not be impacted by your house. You are free to select any residence if the aforementioned restrictions don't concern you.
