Galaxy A35 5G Review – Samsung’s White Horse
Design:-
The phone comes with the same design as the new Galaxy A family, with a completely flat frame with slight roundings in the corners of the phone, and the rear cameras on the back of the phone are frameless and with a very reasonable protrusion.
The back of the phone comes from glass, but with a plastic frame, you did not get a luxurious experience like the Galaxy A55 5G, but the glass back still provides a feeling of luxury.
The weight of the phone is 209 grams, which is a large weight, with a thickness of 8.2 mm, and the weight distribution in the phone is good and you did not find a crisis in this aspect, and the phone is water and dust resistant with an IP67 certificate.
Screen:-
The phone screen comes in a size of 6.6 inches with FHD + resolution of the Super AMOLED type with a frequency of up to 120 Hz, with HDR10 + support and a brightness of up to 1000 candles.
The screen is completely flat without any bends, but the phone comes in the box without a protective sticker and the screen has a protective layer of Gorilla Glass Victus.
The screen design is good as it has a hole and the edges around the screen are not small and do not bother you and the actual brightness of the screen under sunlight reaches 1000 candles which is excellent brightness.
The screen experience is excellent in terms of color saturation, details and accuracy and the color saturation is very accurate in the phone and higher than the Galaxy A55 5G which offers very unsaturated colors.
Performance:-
Exynos 1380 processor with 5nm technology supports fifth generation networks with UFS 2.0 storage memory.
The phone's performance is very good and fast and will provide everything you need without any problems. It is the same processor that we tested in the Galaxy A54 5G and its performance was very satisfactory.
As for the phone's temperature, the temperature rises but in an acceptable way, and the phone's cooling is somewhat good, and the phone runs the PUBG game at a rate of 60 frames per second.
Security factors and other elements:-
The fingerprint is located under the screen with average performance.
The phone runs on Samsung's One UI 6.1 interface based on Android 14, and the phone will get 4 years of Android system updates and 5 years of security updates.
The phone supports NFC and supports Always On Display, and the real proximity sensor is not present and the function is done through the software with good performance that you will not face any problem with.
The phone's external speakers work with excellent stereo sound, and the phone does not support a 3.5 mm headphone jack, but it supports an additional microphone for noise isolation.
Wi-Fi networks are average and not the best, and the communication networks are good.
Battery:-
A 5000 mAh battery, provides very good actual performance, better than the previous A54 5G, it will last you for a day of average use without the need for charging.
The charging speed is 25 watts, which is a recurring defect in Samsung phones, the charger charges the phone in about 75 minutes, and you will need to buy the charger because it is not included in the phone box.
Cameras:-
The phone comes with a 50-megapixel primary rear camera with an F/1.8 lens aperture with an optical stabilizer with a Samsung JN5 sensor, with an 8-megapixel lens with an F/2.2 lens aperture, which is Ultra Wide for wide-angle photography, a final 5-megapixel macro lens, and a 13-megapixel selfie with an F/2.2 lens aperture.
The phone takes 1X portrait photography without a telephoto lens.
We tested the phone's cameras alongside the Galaxy A55 5G cameras and found a great similarity in performance between the two cameras, with the only difference being in the way the image colors are processed in each phone, as the A55 5G enhances colors while the A35 5G transmits true colors as they are, so the A35 5G is excellent in photography in its price category.
As for the performance of the selfie camera, the phone offers excellent performance, as the images come out complete with good colors and good details, and when comparing the selfie with the A55 5G, we found a slight advantage in favor of the A35 5G.
As for video recording, the phone supports 4K shooting at 30 frames per second, and the main lens supports optical stabilizer, and also supports an additional microphone for noise isolation.
